Continuing Education Credits
The Family Enhancement & Play Therapy Center, Inc.
is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing
education for psychologists. The FEAPT Center maintains responsibility
for this program and its contents. The Family Enhancement & Play
Therapy Center is approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors
(5732) to offer continuing education credits to counselors. The FEAPT
Center follows all CE guidelines. It is also an Association for Play
Therapy (APT) Approved Provider 95-014. This program has been approved
by a number of state social work boards (please contact us for this
info).
It is the responsibility of training participants to ensure that their licensing
boards will accept the workshop credits we offer, although we will gladly
help whenever possible.
Please contact us with any questions about your continuing education needs.
Please note: Continuing education credits can be awarded
only to those participants who attend the entire training program. Partial
credit
cannot be awarded. There can be no exceptions to this policy.

CE for Video Workshops
We are now offering CE credits for our video workshops. Most professional
accrediting organizations now permit distance learning credits for the fulfillment
of some of their CE requirements. The amount of CE credit available for
each of our video workshops is listed with each video in our product descriptions. If
you wish to extend your study of one of these areas, you may make arrangements
with Dr. VanFleet to add books, research, and other reading materials to your
video workshop study, and the number of CE credits will be adjusted according
to the materials added. To augment your distance learning in
this manner, please contact Dr. VanFleet prior to your use of the video
workshop.
APT-Approved Supervisor Credits
For professionals who wish to become RPT-Ss (Registered Play Therapist
Supervisors), APT requires training in supervision skills. We
offer a distance learning program that partially meets this requirement. It
involves the reading of written materials as well as a minimum of
two telephone contacts with Dr. VanFleet,
in which the training is tailored to your specific needs. Please
contact Dr. VanFleet by email or phone if you would like more information
on this
program.
